HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
We hope you all had a happy and safe New Year. Chris actually had to wake me up at 11:30 so we could watch the ball drop together. I guess that means I'm getting old? Either that, or the holiday season and the jet lag just caught up with me (I like to think it's the later). Needless to say, 2010 was THE MOST eventful and life changing year we've EVER had! We're excited to see what 2011 has in store for us.
We spent our Christmas in Cape Coral, Fl with Hayden's Grandma & Grandpa Coppedge. It was SO nice to get to spend some quality time with them. They decorated the house extra special for Hayden, since it was her first Christmas and Grandma bought her a beautiful outfit for her to wear for the Christmas day festivities.
The weather was a little colder than I would have preferred during our stay, but it still beat the heck outta the even colder and more dreary Seattle weather. The chilly weather didn't stop us from spending an afternoon on Captiva Island. Hayden got her first glimpse of the Gulf coast.
Note the winter coats at the beach!

Here are some additional photos from our trip. I really need to learn how to make a photo collage on this thing....

We had such an amazing time there! It was so hard to leave. Having a baby makes it THAT MUCH HARDER to be long distances from family! Thanks for everything Mike & Kari! We love you guys and hope to see you again real soon! We need to utilize Skype more often...
Hayden was a CHAMP on our flights to and from. We even got a couple compliments on her good behavior from the passengers around us after we landed in Seattle. Whew! Thank you Hayden!
